Cellar
The requirements in the cellar are established in the vineyard.
Only what is suitable for our choice of quality is then used in our cellar in the sense of its origin and vintage. One aim is particularly important for our concept - from the grape to the wine the element of time always takes centre stage.
Only a wine with a pedigree and character, without alterations and with its rough edges, makes the work so fascinating and so does opening a wine - after the appropriate storage time in the cellar in stainless steel or wooden barrels (particularly in case of DeSilva - white wines) and then in Barriques (particularly in case of our Amistar - red wines) and, of course, in the bottle - which reflects everything which happens in a year from winter to the grape harvest and which has then, through care and maturation, been brought to perfection in the cellar.
That is a wine which is worth waiting for!
